Why We Don’t Skip Strategy

March 9, 2016

A wise person once said there are two types of people in the world: Those who read the directions first, and those that dive right in.

In the business world, too often people set goals and skip past strategy to the action plan. Sometimes it works out. Other times it collapses like a piece of Scandinavian furniture without the dowels in place.

At Fresh Creative, we take the time needed to assess our clients’ goals and see how we can help them succeed by developing a strong marketing strategy. Each member of our team plays an important role in this process and its implementation.

Our Strategist: When developing the marketing strategy for our clients, I analyze all facets of their marketing plans as well as their KPIs and other key measurables to ensure our plan meets their goals. It’s easy to jump into a new project, especially when there’s a tight deadline, but I help both our team and our clients grasp how each project affects the big picture.

Our Account Manager: Many people skip the directions because they are too hard to follow. My job is to truly understand our clients. That way I can communicate their desires to the team so nothing gets lost in translation. I function as the client for our team and represent our team and its work to the client.

Our Designer: I’m an artist, but I know there’s much more to solid design than visual appeal. Great design must be strategic, so I have to know our clients’ brand and what they are trying to achieve. Once I see what is driving a project, I can create design that plays its part.

Our Web Developer: A client may want a new website, but I need to understand their goals before development begins. From platform selection to security concerns, I work with the strategist, designer and account manager to recommend the right web solution for each project.

Our Digital & Interactive Specialist: I do whatever it takes to get the job done for clients. One day I may be producing a training video or YouTube tutorial, and the next day I’m running a digital remarketing campaign. I wear many hats at Fresh, but my most important role is examining new technologies and marketing techniques that fit our clients’ strategic goals.

Our Social Media Manager: Success in social media is much deeper than how many fans you have. I use our clients’ social analytics to determine when, where and what to post to drive optimum reach and engagement. I know that a good social media strategy improves consumer sentiment while also supporting sales, marketing and customer service functions.

Our Principal: When you’re running a business, you know even the best strategy can quickly get off course by day-to-day pressures. I help my team navigate the complexities of the business world and recognize why their project may not be progressing as anticipated. I make sure we stay on course by having the resources in place to help my team succeed.

The Fresh Creative team recognizes the importance of strategy. If you’re one of those people who skip the directions, let our team help you develop the strategy you need to get the job done right. Contact us at freshcreativeinc.com/contact us.
